Safe Food Handling Training

Deshkan Ziibiing Employment and Training, in partnership with the London Training Centre, is offering a Safe Food Handling Training session for community members interested in building essential workplace skills in food safety.
This certification program teaches the core principles of safe food handling, including proper hygiene, food preparation, and safety standards required in Ontario. Whether you are seeking employment in food service, preparing for a new role, or looking to strengthen your knowledge, this training provides valuable, recognized credentials.
Participants will gain practical knowledge in key areas such as food microbiology, temperature control, cross-contamination prevention, and cleaning and sanitizing practices. This certification meets Ontario’s mandatory food safety requirements and is recognized by all health units across the province.
