Chippewas of the Thames Development Corporation (CTDC) has been actively involved in the green energy sector in alignment with the Chippewas of the Thames Comprehensive Community Plan prosperity development objective.
Established in 2015, Chippewas of the Thames Solar Corp (CTSC) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CTDC. The CTSC was successful in securing four Feed-in-Tariff (FiT) contracts that will produce 380 kW of energy to the grid. Sentinel Solar completed construction of four non-residential roof-top installations (e.g., commercial buildings and barns) throughout Essex County.
Under the current FiT contracts, these solar sites will generate revenue into the year 2035.
