COVID-19 Administrative Update

Due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the area, as well as government direction – Chippewas of the Thames First Nation has made the decision to implement a ‘Work from Home’ schedule for administration staff, effective Monday, December 13th, 2021.

From Monday, December 13th to Friday, December 17th, 2021 (prior to our scheduled holiday shutdown from December 20th, 2021 to January 7th, 2022) most staff will be working from home and offices will be closed to the public.

Essential services and programs for members and community will continue uninterrupted. Many in-person programming will move to virtual. You will be notified if programming you are signed up for is changing its format.

The continuation of work-from-home after the holidays will be re-assessed before the anticipated return on January 10th, 2022.

As always, safety is our top priority. We encourage all members to take precautions during the holiday season to curb the spread of COVID-19. You can keep your loved ones safe by getting vaccinated, washing your hands often, and limiting your gatherings to as few people as possible. We wish you a safe and happy holiday season.
